Gábor Szabó

Gábor is a fifth-year PhD student in the Department of Chemistry and Biochemistry. He graduated with a master’s degree in Chemistry from the University of Szeged (Hungary) in 2021. His current research focuses on understanding light- and heat induced degradation processes in perovskite solar cells.

Akshaya Chemmangat

Akshaya is a fourth-year doctoral student in the Department of Chemistry and Biochemistry at Notre Dame. She graduated with a Master’s degree in chemistry from the Indian Institute of Science Education and Research (IISER-TVM) in 2022. Akshaya’s current research is focused on understanding the energy and charge transfer processes in perovskite nanocrystal-acceptor hybrids.

Bikram Ghosh

Bikram is a third-year PhD student in the Department of Chemistry and Biochemistry at the University of Notre Dame. He graduated with a Master's degree in Applied Chemistry from Ramakrishna Mission Vidyamandira (RKMV-Belur Math), India in 2023. Bikram’s current research is focused on metal-semiconductor hybrid nanostructures.

Manish Mukherjee

Jackie is a second-year PhD student in the Department of Chemistry and Biochemistry. She graduated with a bachelor's degree from Central Michigan University in 2024. Jackie's current research is focused on understanding the optoelectronic properties of quantum dot semiconductors.

Skerxho Osmani

Skerxho is a fourth-year PhD student in the Department of Physics and Mathematics at Università Cattolica del Sacro Cuore (Italy) and in the Department of Chemistry and Biochemistry at the University of Notre Dame. He is part of a dual-degree program between the two institutions. He graduated with a master's degree in Chemistry from Università del Piemonte Orientale (Italy) in 2021. His research focuses on metal-oxide–based devices for electrochemical and photocatalytic water splitting as a sustainable energy source.
